He is preceded in death by his sister, Becky Seidl. He is survived by his wife, Marsha Bennett; children, Matt Bennett, Joan Bennett and the Oakland Drive Posse; as well as grandchildren, Savannah Bennett and Sophia Bennett.
Jake served our country and was United States Air Force retired. He was also a pilot and a programmer. Jake was known in his community as the neighborhood clown as well as for his goofy hats. He dedicated much of his time to endless projects as well as his daily walks. He helped others with his services through the Knights of Columbus. He was an Alabama Football fan and greatly valued his close friends. He touched many lives and brought smiles to all.
A visitation for Jake will be held Wednesday, September 25, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 511 N. Memorial Drive, Prattville, Alabama 36067, followed by a funeral mass at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Oakhill Cemetery, Prattville, Alabama with full military honors.
