HINES, James Fort, age 77, a resident of Deatsville, AL passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2013. Mr. Hines was born in Leesburg, GA to John Mark and Jannie Hines on March 31, 1936. He retired as an Insurance agent for The Modern Woodman of America Agency and was also a member of The Gideons International.
He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Martha J. Green Hines; step-children, Barry (Lynne) Green of Deatsville; Larry (Cathy) Green of Iowa Park, TX, Sheila (Ken) Rhinehart of Marion, AL, Teresa (Don) Watowich of Clifton, NJ; step-grandchildren, Barry (Heather) Green, Jr, Wendy (Buster) Smith, Jacob Hampton, Ashley Green, Marina Pittari and 4 great-grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Kaylor and Linda Hines of Leesburg, GA.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Sunday, April 21, 2013 at Ridout’s Prattville Chapel with Rev. Tommy Roy officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to services. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested monetary contributions be sent to the family.
