Jan Gagner

Jan Gagner, 63, of Prattville, AL passed away on September, 6, 2023. Jan was born on January, 14, 1960 to Walter and Barbara Roney in Selma, AL She graduated from Selma High School in 1979 and met her husband, Miles, shortly thereafter. They wed in 1980, enjoyed 43 years of marriage and had one son, Brett. During her professional career, she worked in various office roles culminating in her current role at Continental Brokerage Corporation working for Steve Gulledge, as his Executive Assistant. She absolutely loved her job and had been there for over 27 years.

During her free time, she loved to read, shop, go RVing with Miles, and spend time with her grandson Peyton as often as possible. She caught as many baseball games, soccer games, and waterski tournaments with him as her health would allow. Some would even venture to say she spoiled her grandson. She was a Godly woman and would light up any room she walked into. She's now reunited with those that preceded her to Heaven. Fly high and dance freely, you will truly be loved and missed by those still here.

Jan is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles. She is survived by her husband, Miles; son, Brett (Jazmine); grandson, Peyton; siblings; Marty Roney (Missy); Melanie Dellinger (Eric), Gail Rolfe and Curtis Mott (Michelle) and aunt, Joyce Mott who she considered second mother. She is also survived by many extended family members.

Services for Jan will be Sunday, September 10, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Trinity UMC in Prattville. A visitation for Jan will be Saturday, September 9, 2023 from 5:00 -7:00 PM at Ridouts Prattville Chapel. Serving as Pallbearers will be Bill Legg, Robert Bradley, Daryl Collins, Steve Duke, Sean Lee and Ron Beatty.
