

.Mae "JaneIle" Maness McNeal, age 79, of Prattville, Alabama, passed away Saturday, January 29, 2022, surrounded by her loved ones. She is preceded by her husband, William Terry McNeal. She leaves 3 children Mark & Diane McNeal Smith of Elmira, New York, William Andrew "Andy" & Tracy Birdsong McNeal of Prattville, and Dr. Neville & Kay McNeal Duarte, Montgomery; 9 grandchildren: Mark Smith Jr., Miami, Florida, Bobby & Crysten Smith Nebhut, Prattville, Jas. & Amber Smith, Winchester, Kentucky, Chris & Lauren Smith Breed, Prattville, Luke & Jaemi Smith Hemphill, Jacksonville, Florida, Caleb McNeal, NoeIle Wright, Jeremiah Wright and Dwayne Childress, all of Prattville; 19 great-grandchildren; 1 sister Edwin and Lillian Maness Talton, Sylacauga, and 1 brother Jimmy & Brenda Maness, Bessemer, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins
Mrs. McNeal, who was born in Coosa County, Alabama, was a certified worker for many years in Camellia Baptist Church Daycare Center, volunteered in the kitchen of Camellia Baptist Church and was a partner in M&M Metal Shop. She and her husband moved to Prattville in 1959. She was a charter member of Camellia Baptist Church in Prattville.
She is preceded in death by her father, Walter Fudge Maness, her mother, Lillian OdeIle Robinson Maness, her sister Patricia Ann Maness Hughes and her brother, Ricky Wayne Maness.
Visitation will be at 1 pm at Camellia Baptist Church, Prattville, Friday, February 4, 2022, followed by the funeral service at 2 pm. Burial will follow at Prattville Memory Gardens. Officiating the service will be the Rev. Peyton Kelly, Pallbearers: Brian Hughes, Glenn Minor, Jim Dodd, Walter Maness, Robbie Langley, and Nick Minor.
In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to Camellia Baptist Church, 201 Woodvale Drive, Prattville, Alabama 36067.
