She is preceded in death by her husband, Billy F. Cox; father, Doy Peacock; mother Faye Reynolds and brother, Donnie Peacock.
Jan is survived by her daughter, Kathi Nelson (Frank); son, Cliff Durrence; grandchildren, Shannon Dudney (Brett), Dustin Nelson, Matthew Durrence, Rebekah Thompson (Jeff), Kyler Durrence; great grandchildren, Joshua Durrence, Kaylen Durrence, Joseph Durrence, Jesse Durrence, Kaysen Durrence, Serenity Thompson, Hunter Thompson, Ethan Thompson, Thomas Dudney, Harrison Dudney and sisters, Pat Pritt (Dean) and Gayle Bishop (Morris).
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Prattville Baptist Hospital nurses and to Adoration Hospice.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Jan.
The family will hold a private service at a later date.
