John Howard Anderson, 95, a resident of Montgomery, Alabama, passed away Friday, February 19, 2016. Funeral services will be at Ridout’s Prattville Chapel on Tuesday, February 23 at 2:00 p.m. with Dr. Travis Colman and James Jackson officiating, visitation from 1:00 until 2:00 pm. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Mr. Anderson is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret S. Anderson. He is survived by his daughter, Judith A. Johnson (Michael); sister, Eleanor A. Willis; and numerous nieces and nephews. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Ed Mullins, Harold Hammond, Tommy Thompson, Reggie Strickland, Gene Willis and Richard Driskill. Mr. Anderson served in the European Theatre in World War II. Donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Prattville. Ridout’s Prattville Chapel Directing.
