Big D...you were a big man, and I am so thankful that you lived life big! You always welcomed me to your house with open arms. It is the one place I always felt welcomed at any time even without a notice. You were working on your pilots license and now you are flying high watching over all of us. Yesterday was hard, but the crowd there to celebrate your life tells it all! You were loved. I will miss your smile... and what a wonderful chef. You could cook out meat on a grill like no one else! Your family will always be in my heart. Rest in Peace Daryl

Amy: i am so very sorry to hear about the passing of your dad. From what I read in his obituary, he was certainly a special person. Dad's are so special to their little girls, such as you, and I was also.

I missed you yesterday and today at our parking area I spoke with Ms. Anita and she told me about your Dad. Amy, I am so sorry. I will be praying for you
and your family. I will see you soon. I am sending you a special hug!!

Daryl was always like an uncle to me. When I was a teen I worked at Wal-Mart. Every single time I’d see Daryl, up to the last time I saw him a few years ago, he would yell, “GET ME A BUGGY!” Gonna miss you big guy!
