John “Johnny” Kenneth Grant, 69, of Prattville, passed away Tuesday January 9, 2018. Visitation will begin at 1:30 PM Saturday January 13th at Ridout’s Prattville Chapel followed his funeral service at 2:30 PM in the funeral home chapel with Chaplain Kathy McFadden officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Grant was born in Autauga County on April 15, 1948 to the late Louis Dawson Grant and Lillian Logan Grant. He was a sheet metal mechanic and loved the outdoors.
He is survived by his five sons, Kevin Michael Grant and his wife Samantha, Kenny Grant and his wife Melissa, Jeffery Lane Grant, Jeremy Scott Grant, Josh Grant and his wife Ashley; grandchildren, Stefani Steele and her husband David, Taylor Justyne Grant, Kody Grant and his wife Hannah; a great grandchild, Ian Lee Hollon and a host nieces, nephews, other relatives and a special friend, “Chico”, his beloved pet.
