Joyce Wooten, 71, of Prattville, passed away April 17, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Calvin and Lillie Watson and brother, Jimmy Watson. She is survived by her husband, Joe Wooten, daughter, Ann Wooten; siblings, Marzell Fulgum (Larry) of Lanett, Alabama, Margie Loland of Slapout, Alabama, Chester Watson of Prattville, Alabama, Linda King (Larry) of Prattville, Alabama and Edna Smitherman of Billingsley, Alabama. Joyce was also survived by her great great niece, Kinsley Starns, who was the apple of her eye and her pride and joy.
Services for Joyce will be Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Ridout’s Prattville Chapel with the visitation from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at Oakhill Cemetery. Mark Watts will officiate. Pallbearers will be Nathan Pike, Bubba Smitherman, Lyman Woodfin, Daniel Woodfin, Dewayne King and Josh Tatum.
Flowers will be accepted but one can make donations to the Montgomery Cancer Center in her memory or to Prattville Humane Society to the “Buster Fund” in her memory.
