.Kenneth U. Respess Jr. 67 passed away June 4 2014 in Equality Al. Kenneth served as one of the first motorcycle officers in Prattville, also server the city police as assistant chief. Served in the sheriff department. He retired as a millwright. Kenneth is survived by his Wife Jacqulyn Respess. Kenneth was preceded in death by his mother Rose Respess, Father Kenneth U. Respess Sr. One son Michael Respess. He is survived by his four children Kenneth Edward Respess (Regina) of Prattville Al. Mitchell Respess Johnson City, Tn. Melissa Kay Vaughn (Buddy)Johnson City Tn. Shawn David Megehee (Joy) Ar. One brother Bill Respess (Joan) Millbrook, Al. 2 sisters Edith Garrett (Ron) Maplesville, Al. Mary Joiner (Darrell) Coosada Al., 3 grandchildren Atlas James, Kenneth Dale, and Mykayla. The family will receive visitors on Thursday June 5 at 6pm until 8pm Funeral services will be held on Friday at 1pm at Ridout Funeral home Prattville Al with Jeffery Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Hill Cemetery in Autagaville Al.Arrangements under the direction of Ridout's Prattville Chapel
