On Saturday night, October 26, 2019, Kevin Scott Morris went home. He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Betty Anne Morris, and his twin brother, Gavin Morris. Kevin’s passing was unexpected, and his loss will be felt by a multitude of people who were blessed to know him during his 58 years on this Earth.
Kevin had the uncanny ability to make you feel as if you were the only one in the world. He had a southern charm and wit that would disarm the most negative people and a smile that would light up not only the room, but your heart. And his laughter… if you were ever blessed to hear it, it stayed with you like a song. If you were around at Christmas, he would serenade you with O Holy Night, Silent Night, and even The Little Drummer Boy. You would also enjoy his famous divinity treats… they were truly a delight and an anticipated gift. But Kevin’s greatest gift was that of himself.
Kevin’s heart and home were also open to family, friends, neighbors, and friends not yet met. His trust was given freely, and a confidence never forsaken. Kevin was a rare jewel in the crown of life and heaven is a little brighter. Our hearts ache from the loss as we go forward, but we rejoice in knowing that he is reunited with his beautiful mother and precious brother.
