Mr. Nelson was preceded in death by his father, Homer Nelson; mother, Dora Nell Nelson; and brothers, Billy Nelson, Paul Nelson and Homer Ray Nelson.
He is survived by his children; Brian Shane Nelson and Lance Nelson(Tiffiany); sister, Linda Nelson and grandchildren Paul Nelson and Lily Nelson. He also leaves behind nieces Myra Lamar, Melba Wright, Tina Nelson, Pam Sanderford and nephew Homer J. Nelson.
A visitation for Larry will be held Thursday, August 20, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Big Springs Baptist Church, 2003 Co. Rd. 77, Billingsley, AL 36006, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM.
