Leon Jones

Leon Jones, age 88, of Prattville, Alabama, formally of Slapout, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Marie Stoudenmire; wife, Carolyn D. Jones; daughter, Joelle Jones; and sister, Jymme Ree Finney, and step granddaughter Brittany Bohannon. He is survived by his son, Jimmy Jones (Debbie); grandchildren, Zachary Jones (Kimberley), Sommer Jones, Savannah Jones, Zachary Curtis and Steven Curtis (Amanda); great grandchildren, Alivia Curtis, Landon Odom, Austin Bohannon, Levi Jones, Ansleigh Jones, Jesus Miles, Letty Miles, and Amelia Curtis; nieces, Ann Sullivan (Leamon), Tammy Doss, and Angela Pigford; nephew, Todd Finney.

Leon Jones dearly loved his family, faith, Alabama football, and his beloved dog "best buddy" Bo.

Pallbearers; Danny Strock, Tyler Strock, DeWayne Ross, Leamon Sullivan, Brien Repp, and Jack Lawford.

A visitation for Leon Jones will be Wednesday, March 3, 2024 at Ridout's Prattville Chapel from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM with the funeral service at 11:00 AM. Burial will be at Prattville Memory Gardens following the funeral service.
