

Levonne Agnes McGee went home to be with the Lord on Saturday April 11, 2026. She was born on August 5, 1935 in Autauga County. Levonne was the first of eight children born to Ollie and Agnes Glenn. Her quick wit, amazing food, and masterful skill with needle and thread will be remembered fondly.
Levonne graduated Billingsley High School and later moved to Montgomery where she worked the lunch counter at S.H. Kress & Co. Five and Dime Store. She also worked as a book keeper for a furniture store. Levonne took her later role of homemaker very seriously and performed with grace, integrity, efficiency, and love.
She was a long time member of First Baptist Church in Montgomery where she taught first grade Sunday School and was active in the Womens Missionary Union. She and her husband Mac went on several mission trips to different locations in the United States.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband and high school sweetheart Mac McGee; her beloved daughter Sharon McGee; her parents Ollie and Agnes Glenn; and siblings Doris, Lamar, Mae, Elbie, Frances, and Marjorie.
Levonne is survived by her sister Gail (Carl) Moore. She is also survived by two children: Cletus (Linda) McGee and Gary (Michaeila) McGee; four grandchildren: Kristen (Nathan) Diehl, Stephen McGee, Lauren Grace (Hunter) Johnson, and Braden McGee; and six great-grandchildren. Levonne also leaves behind many other family members and friends who loved her dearly.
Visitation will be Saturday April 25, 2026 from 2:00pm to 3:00pm at Ridouts Funeral Home, 347 E. Main St. in Prattville. Graveside burial will take place at Greenwood Serenity Memorial Gardens, 909 Lincoln Rd. Montgomery, AL. 36109 at 3:30pm.
