Lillian A. Maddox

Maddox, Lillian Oates born June 24, 1931 passed away on April 24th, 2020 at the age of 88. She is proceeded in death by husband Cooper Oates married from 2/19/56-6/10/84 and husband Rev. Dalton Maddox married from 8/19/00-1/14/03 her daughter: Patricia Fisher and son: Paul Oates. Lillian is survived by her daughter: Maureen Crouse (Ken), daughter in love: Jessica Oates. Granddaughters: Kim Williams (David), Melissa Wagner (Robbie), Grandsons: Chris Oates (Heather) and Danny Oates. Great Grandchildren: Jake Chavers, Paxton Chavers, Kendall Moore, Cooper Oates, Brent Wagner, Parker Wagner, Emily Williams, Sarabeth Williams Carr, Claire Williams, Dalton Maddox, Jarod Maddox, Rachel Maddox Davis, her stepchildren: Kenneth Maddox, Dale Maddox, Rachel Maddox Benkendorf. Lillian spent most of her working life in the Prattville area working at the first Pratt pool to her years of work at Rexall Drug Store. She is still loved by many as mawmaw. She loved time with her friends (too many to mention), family and her church Fountain City Baptist. During this time so many have helped our family with thoughts, prayers, and the many medical doctor trips and we thank each and every one of you especially to our care sitters: Sandy Pitcock, Monette Burdeshaw, Carol Cooley, Glenda Cox, Maliwan Paulsen, Tonya Dawson, and Mamie Gardner, we do not know what we would have done without each and every one of you, true blessings. A family graveside will be on Tuesday April 28th at 11:00 am at Pine Level United Methodist Church Cemetery.
