She is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Louise Chamberlain.
Linda is survived by her husband, Jesse Jones Jr.; son, Heath Frye (Alexandria); daughter, Jody Kirk (Jason); son, Michael Taylor; grandchildren, Brady Kirk, Nikola Frye, Vuk Frye; daughter in law, Aleksandra Frye and special friends, Judy Jones and Billie Lamison.
Linda held a PhD in Latin and Greek from OSU and a Doctorate of Divinity and was a Methodist minister in Ohio where she was very active in her ministry. She was also Eastern Band Cherokee (Bird Clan) and her Cherokee name was Brown Dove Watching.
The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
