Lovie Perry Carter

CARTER, Lovie Perry, of Montgomery, AL. passed away Friday July 7, 2017. Funeral services were held Monday July 10th at 2:00 PM at Ridout’s Prattville Chapel with Pastor Rex Davis officiating. Burial followed in Prattville Memory Gardens. She was the daughter of the late Elder and Mrs. Lee Perry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Elder J.W. Perry; a son, Lewis Dale Carter and a granddaughter, Tara Michelle Lambert. She is survived by a daughter, Carol Carter Burchett of Montgomery, AL.; a son Thomas Gary Carter of Montgomery, AL.; granddaughters, Mrs. Rachel Lambert-Wright of Millbrook, AL.; Jennifer Ratten of Jacksonville, FL.; Dale Carter of Plantersville, AL.; grandsons; Chris Carter and John Carter of Jacksonville, FL.; Cody Lambert of Montgomery, AL.; sisters, Mrs. Sunshine Gibson of Humbolt, TN. and Mrs. Sarah Garmany of Milan, TN.; two special nieces, Jennifer Davenport and Nancy Luviani and a host of other nieces and nephews. She was a member of Frazer Memorial United Methodist Church in Montgomery, AL. She was retired from the Bank of Prattville and Civil Service and served on the board of several organizations in her life.
