Mable M. Tatum

Mrs. Mable M. Tatum, 92, a longtime Prattville resident, passed away Thursday April 26, 2018. A graveside funeral service was held at 11:00 AM Saturday April 28th at the Pine Level United Methodist Church with Pastor Lee Strickland officiating.

Mrs. Tatum was born in Perry County, Alabama on September 29, 1925 to the late John Finis Morris and Vera Duncan Morris. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Gaston “Shug” Tatum and her brother, Cecil Morris.

She is survived by a daughter and son in law, Elaine T. and George Williams of Deatsville; a son, Ray Tatum of Prattville and a loyal friend, “Sheba”. Pallbearers will be Ray Tatum, George Williams, Charles Lovett, Rush Dickinson, Herbie Johnson and Glenn Cook.
