MARGARET ELIZABETH BARRETT, age 70, a lifelong Autauga County resident, passed away Saturday, November 11, 2017. Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 14th at 2:00 PM at White Pond Baptist Church . Interment was in White City Cemetery. Mrs. Barrett was born December 3, 1946 to the late Johnnie B. Thomas and Elizabeth Hartley Thomas. She was a longtime member of the White Pond Baptist Church and where she'd served in several capacities including the church clerk. She is survived by three daughters, Elizabeth Ann Worthington, Barbara Jean Barrett, Janice Barrett Andrews; four sons and two daughters-in-law, John Barrett, Franklin Barrett and Lynnann Brown, Douglas and Tammy Barrett, Jacob Barrett; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Ivory and Alvin Brown, Sarah Barrett and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions were requested to be made to the White Pond Baptist Church Building Fund, 1155 County Road 49, Marbury, Alabama 36051.
