Nettie Marilyn Norwood, 79, of Prattville, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her father, P.M. Norwood; mother, Virginia Cobb. She is survived by her sister, Elaine Wilkes of Prattville, Al.; nieces, Melanie Leigh Wilkes of Alexander City, Al and Ashley Elaine Wilkes Myrick (Thomas) of Prattville, Al.; great niece, Scarlett Myrick and great nephew Rhett Myrick, both of Prattville, Al.
Marilyn was a client of Smith Center for 35 years and love it dearly. Marilyn also loved her family, animals and art. Marilyn was a member of First Baptist Church, Prattville and was a member of their Special Education Sunday School Class. Her favorite holiday was Christmas and since she was born on December 26, 2023, it was even more special. Marilyn was a Christian and lived and practiced her faith. She was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.
A visitation for Marilyn will be held Thursday, August 31, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Ridout's-Brown-Service Prattville Chapel, 347 East Main Street, Prattville, AL 36067.
