RICE, Mary Elva, age 90, passed away Sunday, August 21, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents, James N. Rice and Nina McKinnon Rice, brothers, Robert N. Rice and James A. Rice, a sister, Louise Rice, one niece, Theresa Rice Coats, two nephews, Robert N. Rice, Jr., and William J. Rice. She is survived by two nieces, Mable Rice Whetstone of Prattville, AL, Gwen Rice (Dan) Nelson of Haleyville, AL and numerous great nieces and nephews. Graveside services were held Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at Oak Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the First United Methodist Church, 100 East 4th St., Prattville, AL 36067.
