

FAULK, Mattie Belle Pritchett, 96, long- time resident of Autaugaville, Alabama passed away in her home Sunday, January 25, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. A Celebration of Life was held Wednesday January 28th at 10:00 AM at the Autaugaville Baptist Church, Autaugaville, Alabama with Dr. Garner Clark and Reverend Thomas C. Bates officiating. Burial followed in the New Live Oak Cemetery in Selma, Alabama.
Mrs. Faulk is preceded in death by her parents, Walter Eldon Pritchett, Sr. and Vera Snider Pritchett, her husband of 44 years, Henry Franklin Faulk, Sr., one daughter, Linda Pritchett Faulk, two sisters, Laura Mae Rogers and Clyde Bush, and one brother, Walter Eldon Pritchett, Jr.
She is survived by one sister Eunice Talley, one son, Henry Franklin Faulk, Jr. (Amelia), three daughters, Nancy Haines (Jim), Kaye Sheridan (George), Faye Moore (Hal); 12 grandchildren, Eddie Norman, Joette Holmes, LaDonna Haines, Karla Salisbury (Joe), Lee Ann Peckenpaugh (Jim), Julie Bates (Larry), Henry Franklin Faulk, III, George Todd Sheridan, Sr. (Kim), Theresa Stinson, Thomas Charles Bates (Jessica), Saundra Russell, Lorri Crumpton (Mike); 24 great grandchildren, Erica Cholewa (Joey), Justin Randall, Travis Holmes, Markie Geon (Steven), Jessica Gonstad (Brian), Savannah Greenlee (Macgregor), Franklin Caswell Sheridan (Whitney), Katie Crumpton, Victoria Norman, Joshua Stinson, Shane Holmes, Blade Salisbury, Christina Crumpton, Toni Rae Faulk, Houston Crumpton, Mattie Mae Bates, Georgia Sheridan, Jordan Bates, George Todd Sheridan, Jr., Scott Michael Russell, Gina Grace Bates, Carter Bates, Chloe Bates, Gabriel Bates and honorary great grandson, Kenny Fowler II; five great-great grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews. She graduated from Lowndes County High School and studied home economics at Huntington College.
She was a faithful member of Autaugaville Baptist Church for 66 years, serving in various positions. Pallbearers were grandsons and great grandsons. Honorary pallbearers were great grandsons. The family would like to thank Gentiva Hospice for all their tender love and care.
