Mendi-Our beautiful girl!
Before we started our own family, as a newly married couple we met a couple adorable little kids ! Neighbors, who would wait on our doorstep to come home after work! We would stay outside and play with you till dark!! What fun we had together-going to the Movies, Dairy Queen and Disney World!
How time flys and lives change, we move to different states, grow older and expand our own families!
Reconnecting after all those years... I’ll never forget your trip to Ohio when Addison was only 3! Then my visit to Alabama for the birth of Paige! What a blessing it was to have you in our lives! It never mattered how many miles there were between us ,you were truly a special gift in my life.
I know you are at home with your mom and what a reunion that must have been!!
How I will miss your calls , laughter and my prayer partner!
There is an emptiness that I can’t bear, I just wish we could have shared one last conversation.......
“I’ve never seen God, but I know how I’s people like you, who make him ‘so real’;my God is no stranger, I pass him each day; in the faces of people, I meet everyday!I wish I might meet him much more than I do; I would if there were more people like you!”
God bless my angel! Until we meet again!
All my Love to you, Lori

Mendi and I were co-workers at a law firm in Montgomery, AL. I was the office manager and she was one of the front office clerks. We spent many days in that office laughing at something Mendi did or said. She was funny, sweet and beautiful! Even after we went our separate ways to different jobs later, she always somehow manage to find me. Like the time she called one of the attorneys at my new job to track me down because she had heard an "Anna" had been killed in a car accident. Obviously it wasn't me but she didn't know that. So she never stopped until she found me and made sure I was ok. Years passed and one day she called me just to make sure I was still ok. You will be missed dearly Mendi!
