BROEKHOVEN, Michael G., T/SGT (Ret.) USAF, 60, a resident of Millbrook, AL, passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2012. He was employed the last ten years with Sherlock, Smith and Adams. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary L. Broekhoven. He is survived by his wife Margaret Broekhoven; son, Michael G. Broekhoven, Jr.; daughter, Melissa J. Broekhoven; father, Edwin Charles Broekhoven, Sr.; brother, Edwin (Karen) Charles Broekhoven, Jr.; sisters, Manetha (David) Lyle and Michell (David) VanDyke. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 12, 2012 at Friendship Baptist Church (Perry County) with Bro. Donald Harris officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow in Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the service.
