July 5th, 2014. Visitation will be held Monday July 14th beginning at 11:00 AM at Ridout’s Prattville Chapel followed by Home Going services to be held at 12:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Shawn Meeks officiating. Burial will follow in the Coosa River / Shoal Creek Cemetery in Elmore County. Alex was loved by all who knew him and will always be remembered for his friendly, loving and outgoing spirit.
He is survived by his mother, Brandy (Chris) Tice; father, Michael (Michelle) Dooley; a brother and sister, Nathan and Hannah Jones; maternal grandparents, Chuck Jones and Rhonda Smith, Debra and Charlie Potts; paternal grandparents, Buford and Brenda Dooley; great grandparents, Lavell Jones and Ethel Dooley; aunts and uncles, Wayne Dooley, Amy(Kevin) Alexander, Dorothy(Harold) Barber, Gail (Gene) Durbin, Niki (Auburn) Stinson.
