

Kevin “Keybo” Carr, 51, a lifelong Prattville resident, passed away Thursday April 28, 2016. Visitation will begin at 2:00 PM Saturday April 30th at Ridout’s Prattville Chapel followed by a Celebration of Life at 3:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Winston Brooks officiating.
Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
“Keybo” was born February 2, 1965 in Montgomery. He was known to be a hard worker and dedicated to his various jobs he held during his life which ranged from construction worker to baker. He was skilled and could perform any kind of work. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, Alabama football, but most of all spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his fathers, Paul Carr and Richard Corley; a brother, Craig “Tony” Carr and a sister, Lisa Self.
He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 33 years, Frances “Fran” Carr; two sons, Kevin Carr, Tommy McElya, a daughter, Maria McElya; mother, Eula Mae Corley; four brothers and two sisters in law, Phillip and Doris Carr, John Carr, Gordon and Jan Corley, Wesley “Shorty” Liles; two sisters and two brothers in law, Donna and J.C. Little, Anna and Bobby Sumner; a granddaughter, Kacie Rain Carr and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins other close relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Carr family.
