Patricia C Tyus

Patricia (Patsy) Crump Tyus, age 87, of Mulberry, Alabama passed away on October 23, 2024. She was born in 1937, raised in Birmingham, AL, and graduated from West End High School. On December 28, 1957, she married the love of her life, Ted Donald Tyus, and they were married for 65 years until his death in 2023.

Patsy was also preceded in death by her parents and three brothers. She is survived by her sister, Mary Grace Brown, her children, Ted Donald Tyus, Jr. (Bobbie Jo), Janice Tyus Kelly (Jim), and Robert Keith Tyus (Andrea). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Lauren Tyus Dilaj (Pawel), Robert Brett Tyus (Jenny), Hannah Tyus, Lindsey Kelly Whitlock (Mark), Elizabeth Kelly Cornett (Josh), Taylor Tyus, and Dr. Morgan Tyus Fisher (Billy), four great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 27, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Ivy Creek United Methodist Church with a graveside service to follow at 2:00 p.m. in the cemetery on the grounds of the church at 3514 Highway 14 West, Autaugaville, AL 36003.

The family would like to thank her dedicated caregivers for the love and care they have given her for many years.
