Peggy Joyce Walker

Peggy Joyce Walker, 73, a native of West Monroe, Louisiana, passed away Wednesday July 11, 2018 at her home in Marbury, Alabama. A celebration of Life was held at 11:00 AM Friday July 27th at Kilpatrick's Serenity Gardens in West Monroe, Louisiana.
Mrs. Walker was born in on September 5, 1944 in West Monroe, Louisiana to the late Robert Thompson and Lou Anderson Thompson. She was retired from the Glenwood Hospital in West Monroe where she served as a secretary. She was a very outgoing person who never met stranger. She enjoyed bingo, music and dancing. She will always be remembered for the love and care she gave to others in their times of need.
She is preceded in death by a son, Dennis Lane Hubbard, Jr. and a sister, Carol Elkins. She is survived by two daughters and a son in law, Lisa and Jason Lawrence of Marbury, Cynthia Harper of West Monroe; a son and daughter in law, Robert “Bobby” and Tish Hubbard of West Monroe; a sister, Debbie Coates; a brother, Jerry “Monk” Anderson and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and close friends.

My condolences to the family of Peggy Walker. Our loving Heavenly Father has given us the wonderful assurance that we can see our loved ones again by means of a resurrection to an earth transformed into a beautiful paradise. (Acts 24:15). We can always rely on the God of comfort to help us endure any trials or obstacles, especially the loss of a dear loved one.
