Richard Earl Barber, 59, of Deatsville, Alabama, passed away January 3, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace (Bud) and Bobbie Barber. He is survived by his daughter, Emily Barber and son, Noah Barber. He is also survived by his grandson, Waylon Alexander.
Richard lived in Pine Level all of his life, graduating from Marbury High school. He was a stock car racing driver and crew member for several years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and most of all being with his children enjoying his hobbies.
A visitation for Richard will be held Friday, January 6, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Ridout's-Brown-Service Prattville Chapel, 347 East Main Street, Prattville, AL 36067. A graveside service will occur Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Pine Level UMC Cemetery, 1926 County Road 109, Prattville, Alabama 36066. Pallbearers will be Barry Davies, Doug Nixon, Bo Maddox, Bryant Davies, Brad Edwards and Mickey Cothron.
