Robert Eugene Ingram, Sr., 80, passed away August 14, 2024. He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Mary Ingram and parents, Ben and Wretha Ingram. He is survived by son, Robert Eugene Ingram Jr. (Katie); grandsons, Ben Ingram and John Robert Ingram; brother, Harry Ingram (Vickey); niece Jennifer Ingram Moya and nephew Steve Ingram.
Mr. ingram attending Bibb County High School and served in the Alabama National Guard. Mr. Ingram worked for 42 years at Union Camp/International Paper. He loved his grandsons deeply and enjoyed attending all their sporting events. Working in his yard and garden brought him great joy.
A visitation for Robert will be held Saturday, August 17, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM at Ridout's-Brown-Service Prattville, 347 East Main Street, Prattville, AL 36067. A graveside service will occur Sunday, August 18, 2024 at 1:30 PM at Heighberger UMC Cemetery, Marion, Alabama.
