Your greatly missed bob...till me meet again..no flirting with the angels ! Love you

Favorite Brother, this is one place I never dreamed I would be. 

I was supposed to leave before you when I was 19 and the Navy Doctors sent the message that you and Mama had best come to see me if you wanted to see me before the heat stroke induced coma claimed me. Not only did you come, but you looked so surprised to find me up and walking toward you. If only I could find you walking toward me now, but that will wait for another time and place.

I often told you that I admired your service time in the Marines more than I did mine, but you were too humble to accept such praise. It was true. You did so many of the things I imagined I would do. You said you joined the Marines to follow me, but I was always following you.

Once again you have taken the lead, and I look forward to the day when I can once again see what you have gotten us into. I’ll miss you  till then. See you soon.
