Robert Edwin Preston, born on March 11, 1949, passed away on January 31, 2026, at the age of 76. He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael Eugene and Margaret Louise Preston. He is survived by his wife, Judy Preston; daughters, Rebekah Preston McGuire (Jack) and Margaret Allison Preston; brother, Mike Preston (Linda).
Robert loved building things, black coffee, listening to music, writing poetry, flying helicopters, working on Jeep, reading and Alabama football but more than all that he loved his family deeply and will be dearly missed by them.
A visitation will be held at Ridout's-Brown-Service Prattville Chapel, located at 347 E Main St, Prattville, Alabama, 36067, on February 6, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will follow at 2:00 pm.
