Funeral and Celebration of Life Services were held
Saturday April 12th at 10:00 AM at the True Divine Baptist Church, 4601 Troy Hwy, Montgomery, Alabama 36116.
Mr. Ward was born December 1, 1956 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Delores Claiborne Ward and the late Robert Charles Ward, Sr.
He earned a law degree from the University of Alabama and a BA degree in political science from Loyola University.
He loved to play tennis and was quick to help anyone in need.
Mr. Ward worked with the Montgomery law firm of Rushston, Stakely, Johnston & Garrett and was highly regarded by his colleagues as an outstanding practitioner and friend.
He was preceded in death by a son, Johannes and is survived by wife, Leslie; two sons, Yancey and Kellen Ward; his mother, Delores Ward Givens; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda and Zachary Mitchell, Rosalyn and Wayne Bolton, Gwendolyn and Tommy Breaux, Jeannie and Cory Bowers and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
