BOWERS, Sharon E., 68, a Prattville resident, passed away Wednesday October 31, 2012. A Celebration of Life Service was on held Saturday November, 10th at 2:00 PM at the Prattville Church of Christ with Minister Brent Missldine officiating, Ridout’s Prattville Chapel directing. Mrs. Bowers was born June 26, 1944 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to the late Louis and Jessie Ruth Stepter. She was retired from U.S. Civil Service where she worked as a computer specialist for many years. She is survived by two daughters; Nancy Bowers, Lynda Shepard and her husband Mike, one son John Bowers and his wife Karen, all of Prattville; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Louis (Jr.) and Prudy Stepter of Wisconsin, Sherrill Eugene and Norma Sue Stepter of Dallas, Texas, six grandchildren; Aaron Shepard, Sissy Shepard Moseley, Ethan Bowers, Camden Bowers, Brianna Bowers and Shayla Bowers; one great-grandson, Lane Moseley and a host nieces, nephews and other close family and friends.
