Shawn Bradford Scott

Shawn Bradford Scott, age 54, of Prattville, Alabama, passed away on February 27, 2028, at the age of 54. Though his time here feels far too short, the love he gave and the lives he touched will endure forever.

Shawn was preceded in death by his father, Roger Scott. He is survived by his mother, Marla Scott; his daughter, Kaitlyn Hill; his brothers, Wesley Scott and Christopher Scott (Heather), sister Amber Hall; and his nieces and nephews: Lindsey Webb (Tyler), Brittany Scott (John), Brandon Scott (Allie), Landon Scott, and Dalton Scott (Tammy). He also leaves behind many extended family members and dear friends who will continue to carry his memory in their hearts.

Shawn was a man of deep faith who loved God and found joy in His creation, whether in the quiet stillness of the woods or beside the water with a fishing line cast. Hunting and fishing were more than hobbies to him — they were moments of peace, reflection, and gratitude.

Shawn will be remembered for his kindness, his generous spirit, his big heart, and the love he poured into those around him. Shawn’s legacy of faith, love, and devotion to family will live on in all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.

A visitation for Shawn will be held Saturday, March 7, 2026 from 12:00 - 1:00 PM at Ridouts Prattville Chapel with the burial to follow at 2:00 PM at Randolph Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers honoring Shawn’s life will be Dalton Scott, Landon Scott, Brandon Scott, Johnathan Wright, Tyler Webb, and Kevin Chandler.
