THOMAS, Stephen Alan, 59, a resident of Montgomery, AL, passed away on Monday, January 7, 2013. He was a resident of Eastdale Estates where he had many friends, one who was most dear to him, Sherry Murphy. He was preceded in death by his father, Lelias Eugene “Gene” Thomas. He is survived by two children, Stephen Stooksbury and Nichole Stooksbury, both of Anchorage, AK; his mother, Dean N. Thomas, Montgomery, AL; sisters, Carol (Larry) York, Prattville, AL; Dianna (John) Carroll, Denver, CO; Molly (David) Hicks, Falls Church, VA; brother, Bob (ShowMei) Thomas, Martinsburg, West VA. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to one’s charity of choice. Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at Wofford Cemetery, Vernon, AL.
