Sylvia Lipscomb Cox

Sylvia L. Cox, a resident of Autaugaville, AL passed away Friday, July 5, 2019. Visitation will be Monday, July 8, 2019 at Autaugaville Baptist Church from 11:00 AM until service time at 12:00 PM with Dr. Garner Clark officiating. Burial will follow in Rocky Hill Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe William Cox, Jr.; sister, Theresa L. Owens; parents, T. J. and Carrie Edna Lipscomb; survivors include two sons, Joe (Melody) Cox and Jay (Juanita) Cox; grandchildren, Kelsey Cox, Ethan Cox and Savannah Cox; one sister, Vivian L. Tatum; brother-in-law, James Owens. Mrs. Cox was a member of Autaugaville Baptist Church and Baptist Women Sunday School Class. She worked at Autauga Farming for 30 plus years.
