TSGT Thomas G. Medford, 85, of Prattville, Alabama and formally of New York passed away February 21, 2025. He was preceded by his parents, Harry and Adele Medford. He is survived by his wife, Billie Jo Medford; children, Tina Ishcomer, Mark Medford(Francie Medford), Joy DeLong(Anthony DeLong), Peggy Garrett; grandchildren/great grandchildren, Kathleen Guy, Katelyn Guy, David Guy, Zarek Brunson(Sarah Brunson), Tobias Brunson, Drew DeLong, Megan Lucas(Logan Lucas), Alexandra Lucas, Chealsey and JD Houtchens, Taily Faria, Kennedy Houtchens, Neeley Loos, Hannah Goss Abigail Goss, Nathan Loos, Connor Loos, Kaley Lake, Aaliyah Rodriguez, Urijah Rodriguez, Ani’Anna Frazier, Ka’Viah Frazier, Wren Revilla(Esmeralda Revilla), Aiden Revilla, Daria King(James King), Zachary King and Nix King.
Thomas was a charter member and lifetime member of the VFW post 1349, and a member of American Legion Post 122. He was a father, grandfather, and a phenomenal cook.
A visitation for Thomas will be held Thursday, February 27, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Ridout's-Brown-Service Prattville, 347 East Main Street, Prattville, AL 36067. A funeral service will occur Thursday, February 27, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Ridout's-Brown-Service Prattville Chapel, 347 E Main St, Prattville, Alabama 36067. A burial will occur Thursday, February 27, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Alabama National Cemetery, 3133 Hwy 119, Montevallo, AL 35115.
