

Travis Windham Reeves, 47, of Prattville, passed away Friday, March 3, 2017. Visitation was at 2:00 PM Monday March 6th at Ridout’s Prattville Chapel followed by a Celebration of Life at 3:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Pastors Joe Davis, Glenn Graham and Kevin McDaniel officicating. Burial followed in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Travis was a 1990 graduate of the Helen Keller School for the Blind in Talladega and was a Gold Medal winner in bowling in the 2016 Special Olympics. Along with bowling Travis enjoyed other sports and activities such as NASCAR, hunting, fishing, Alabama Football, dining out and listening to Christian music. He worked as a silverware wrapper for Outback and O’Charley’s where he was known to be a hard worker and dedicated employee.
Travis also enjoyed attending the Fresh Rain Church and East Memorial Baptist Church. He will always be remembered for his kindness, dedication and commitment.
He is survived by his loving parents, Betty and Allen Clark; aunts and uncles, Thomas and Nobie Beasley, Edna Horn, Helen Eiland, Sally and Paul Creel, Annette Chandler; special friends, Tamara Cooper, Shayna Hill, Tara White; his two Boston Terrier special companions, “Gracie” and “Abby” and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family would like to extend a special word of thanks to Dr. Jade Hoy and staff for their kindness and support. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Azalea Training Center, 201 Woodvale Road, Prattville, Alabama 36067.
