She is preceded in death by her husband, Carroll Bruce Tatum; parents, Thomas J. and Carrie Edna Lipscomb and sisters, Theresa L. Owens and Sylvia L. Cox.
Vivian is survived by her son, Carey Tatum (Suzette); a host of step grandchildren; niece, Ann Barbero (Russ) and nephews, James T. Owens (Vicki), Joe Cox (Melody) and Jay Cox.
She was a native of Autauga County where she grew up in Autaugaville. Vivian was known as a very Godly woman. She started her career in Montgomery, Alabama with Alabama Inspection and Rating Bureau where it later changed its name to Insurance Services Office (ISO) and retired from Anchor Managing General Agency.
A family visitation will be held at 9:30AM on Thursday, July 16, 2026 at Ridouts Prattville Chapel, 347 E. Main St., Prattville, Al. 36067, with a graveside service to follow at 11:00 AM at Pine Level United Methodist Church Cemetery, 1926 Co. Rd. 109, Prattville, Al. 36066.
