Walter Jack Pittman

Walter Jack Pittman a resident of Prattville, Alabama passed away peacefully at home with his family Tuesday September 9, 2014. He was preceded in death by his wife: Phyllis Pittman a granddaughter; Heather Frederick, son-in-law; Eric Easterling and son-in-law; Stan Ledlow.He is survived by 5 daughters and one son; Karen (Frank) Fasone,Jackie(Celie) Pittman, Deborah(Chuck) Frederick, Donna Ledlow, Betty (Bill) McKay,Becky(Brad) Bigham, 24 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren. Active pallbearers will be his grandsons. Funeral services will be at Ridout's Prattvile Chapel Thursday September 11, 2014 at 3:30 pm. with Raymond Elliot and Brent Missledine officiating, burial will follow in Rocky Hill Cemetery in Autaugaville, Al Visitation will be at Ridout's Prattville Chapel Wednesday September 10th from 5:30 until 7:30 pm .He was a great man, husband, father grandfather, great grandfather and uncle to many. We learned many life lessons from him, he will be greatly missed. Mr Pittman was a World War II veteran and retired from M.S. Murphy Farms.
