

Wendy Michelle Clemens, a resident of Montgomery, AL passed from her earthly home to her heavenly home on December 29, 2025, where she was greeted by her Lord and Savior after a long 18year battle with Trigeminal Neuralgia and other illnesses.
Wendy was born on January 5,1978 at Blytheville AFB, Arkansas, to William Scott Clemens and Rhonda Lynn McWhirter Clemens. Being an Air Force brat, she had the opportunity to live in many different parts of the US, she lived in Arkansas, Colorado, Wyoming, and Alabama.
Wendy was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Frank and Ellen Clemens, and maternal grandparents Charles and Monica McWhirter.
Wendy is survived by her daughter Hayley Allison Adkins (Gabriel) and her grandson Lawson Lee Adkins. Also surviving Wendy is her parents, brother Jeremy Scott Clemens (Kate) and their children Savannah Richie (Josh) and Luka Richie, Hensly and Harper Clemens. Her Aunt Rita Goff (Wayne), Uncle Byron (Earline) McWhirter, Uncle Steve (Sue) Clemens and numerous cousins and other family members, plus many friends that will also miss her.
Wendy graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1996; she received her Nursing Degree from Troy State University Montgomery in 2005. During her nursing career she spent the last 9 years as home health/hospice nurse. She truly believed that she was called to be a Hospice nurse, she loved her patients as much as they loved her. Due to her illness she had to leave nursing in 2016 which broke her heart.
Wendy was a very loving and compassionate person who loved everyone. She had a special place in her heart for her patients and a soft spot for animals, especially her English bulldog Saban, which shows her love for the Crimson Tide, but who loved her Lord and Savior with all of her heart and soul.
A Celebration of Life will be held on January 10'h, 2026, with visitation starting at 10AM and services following at 11AM at Thorington Road Baptist Church, 450 Ray Thorington Road, Montgomery, AL 36117. Conducting the services will be Pastor Michael Trull, Senior Pastor Thorington Road Baptist Church and Dr. Herschel Don Yancey,

The family would also like to offer special thanks to Nada, Hope, LaShay, Marissa and Kinley her sweet caring nurses who took exceptional care of her during this time, also to Larrissa, and Matt, her social worker and chaplain. You'll are just wonderful and will always be remembered.
