Caver, William G. “W.G.”, 92, a resident of Billingsley, AL, passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2020. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30, 2020 from 12:00PM – 1:00PM at Bethesda Baptist Church in Independence, AL. Graveside services will be at 1:00PM following visitation at the church cemetery. W.G. was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed by all that knew him. He was a Mason and retired with the Autauga County Sheriff’s Department. W.G. was preceded in death by his wife, Jennie Lou Caver. He is survived by two sons, Joseph F. Caver (Judy) of St. Petersburg, FL and William D. Caver (Jennifer) of Brundidge, AL; three grandchildren, Kevin Caver (Bernadette), David Caver (Renee), Heather Bolan (Bryan Anderson); seven great grandchildren; and one great great grandson. The family would like to thank all the people that have visited and brought food during Mr. Caver’s illness. A special thank you to his next door neighbors, Dean and Tonya Atwell, for being his caregivers the past several years.
