He was preceded in death by his father, Billy W. Barber; and his grandparents, Homer and Flossie Barber, and Herman and Vada Pippin.
William is survived by his mother, Jean Barber; former wife, Elizabeth Adams; his sons, Ian S. Hall, Nolan Hall, and Blake Morton Hall; and his cherished granddaughter, Alita Hall, who brought him immense joy. He also leaves behind his sister, Kesia Gray (Dan), along with his nephews Zion Gray, Jay Gray (Hanna), and Kierstein Gray.
