HESTER, William Edgar “Bill”, age 81, a resident of Billingsley, AL passed away Friday, August 30, 2013. Visitation will be Monday, September 2, 2013 from 5:30 PM until 7:30 PM at Ridout’s Prattville Chapel. Celebration of Life service will be Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at 2:00 PM from Autaugaville Baptist Church with Dr. Garner Clark and Rev. Tom Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Bethesda Baptist Church Cemetery with full military honors. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Naomi Ruth Hester; one daughter, Patricia H. Jones; one son and daughter-in-law, William A. and Edna Ousley Hester; three grandchildren, Jennifer Sherman (Brandon) Threadgill, William Thomas Hester and Heather Michelle Hester; one great grandchild, Heath Jackson Threadgill; Bill’s faithful dog, Lucy; two brothers, Charles (Viola) Hester and Samuel Hester; two sisters, Myra Jean McIntyre and Nime (Joe) Stinson and numerous nieces and nephews. In leiu of flowers, the family request that memorial contributions be given to The Autaugaville Lion’s Club or Autaugaville Baptist Church.
