Mr. William Walker ”Billy” Price, Jr., 93, a former Prattville resident, passed away Monday May 2, 2016 in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday May 5th in Oak Hill Cemetery, according to Ridout’s Prattville Chapel.
Mr. Price was born March 16, 1923 in Prattville to the late William Walker Price, Sr. and Clara DeRamus Price. Mr. Price was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and worked for a number of years at the Woodward Iron Works in Birmingham. He retired after many years of service with the Social Security Administration. Mr. Price is survived by a host of cousins and other relatives
