

She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Charles Cobern; father, Allie Hollon; and mother, Cora Bowden Hollon. She is survived by her children, David Cobern (Emily) and Diane Cobern; grandchildren, Victor McEwan , Charlie Cobern, Ally Cobern Smith (Justus), Ashley Barnes (Chris) and Tyler Williams (Phoenix); as well as great-grandchild, Clementine Williams.
Willodean was born in Mountain Creek, AL. She graduated from Marbury High School in 1954, was a member of Beta Club and participated in cheerleading. She married her high school sweetheart, Charles Cobern in November of the same year she graduated. She went on to be a graduate of Massey Draughon Business College as well as retire from Union Camp. Willodean faithfully served alongside her husband as a member of the Gideon's Ladies Auxiliary.
Through her whole life she had a great love for cats and enjoyed watching Alabama Football. She also valued and loved attending church and spending time with her family and friends. Willodean served as a loving example to her entire family of what a mother should be. She loved everyone that she met and made sure that she told them so.

A funeral service for Willodean will be held Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at Ridout's Prattville Chapel at 11:00 am with a Visitation held one hour prior. Following will be a Graveside service at Prattville Memory Gardens.
Officiating will be Dr. Travis Coleman and Mike Durham, both of First Baptist Church.
