Mr. Vinson was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Shirley Lee Alewine Vinson; his parents, Fred and Mattie Vinson; his brothers, Don Vinson and Fritz Vinson; and his sisters, Jessie Roberts, Aletha LaCount, Lucille Green, and Betty Jean Dewberry.
He is survived by his loving children, Della Landsdell (Jimmy) and DeWayne Mitchell Vinson; his sister, Selma Vinson Green; his cherished grandchildren, Sarah Johnson, Lauren Vinson, and Chase Vinson; and his great-grandchildren, Mac Foertch, Mazie Johnson, and Madlyn Johnson.
Wilton was a man who never passed up an opportunity to better himself. He was known for his strong work ethic, determination, and quiet perseverance. Above all, he was a devoted and loving husband, father, and family man who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
His legacy of hard work, love, and commitment to family will live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
