Allen William MacKinnon June 29, 1948 October 19, 2017 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Allen William MacKinnon, beloved father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, son-in-law, uncle and friend. Al passed away peacefully at the Prince George Hospice House surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by the love of his life, wife Bonnie in 2015, Al is lovingly remembered by his children Leilani (Dave), Linnea, Ryan (Lisa) and Wayne (Emily), grandchildren Erika, Landon, Blake, Noah, Scott, Leo and Layla. Brother Calvin (Elaine), mother-in- law Lorraine, sisters-in-law Sharon, Denise (Brian), brothers-in-law Jim (Leanne) and Greg (Susan), numerous nieces and nephews, special friends Don and Bente Flatt as well as fur baby Olive. A Celebration of Al's life will be held from 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm Saturday November 4, 2017 at the Blackburn Community Centre, 2451 Blackburn Rd. It was Al's wish that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Prince George Hospice House. The MacKinnon family would like to express their deepest thanks to their family physicians Sasha Riome-York, Catherine Textor, Siobhan Key, Melanie MacNicol and the Prince George Hospice House.
