Chuck Wah Chin

Coming to Canada from Toi Shan, China, in his youth, Chuck moved from Vancouver to Prince George and found his lifelong home at age 24. He enjoyed a steady career for 32 years at Intercon Pulp Mill, and raised a loving family in the Hart Highlands area.

He is predeceased by his father, Tan How Chin; and his brother-in-law, Christopher Mah.

Chuck is survived by his wife of 44 years, Susan; children Leanne (Parker) and Alexander; mother Yuet Kwei Chin; siblings Sue (Bill), Suzie, and Kenward (Rachel); grandchildren Julia and Percy; as well as relatives and friends.

He will be remembered for his dedication to family and community, his generous spirit, friendly nature, and of course his smile and camera.

The family would like to acknowledge everyone for their love and support-- the response from the community has been heartfelt and generous.

There are plans for a public gathering at Cottonwood Island Park in Chuck's name in the spring.
